TileFeud

A board game of colour, not words. No letters, no dictionary — just tiles whose edges have to match where they meet.

Get it on the App Store Get it on Google Play

Every tile has four coloured sides and a glowing gem in the middle, and a tile only goes where its colours match every tile it touches. It sounds simple. It plays like a puzzle.

Invite a friend by username and take turns whenever it suits you — you never need to be online at the same time. The game tells you when it is your move, so a match can fill an evening or run for a week.

The gameWhat makes it TileFeud

A big board

21 by 21 squares and 160 tiles in the bag. The 4x squares sit out on the very edge: a long way to reach, and worth the trip.

Eleven special shapes

Link gems into the Red Dragon, the Silver Snake, the Magic Stairs, the Castle and more, for points on top.

Cards that change the game

Five cards from a deck of fourteen. Steal a tile, lock one down, or bring the Blast of the Fire Dragon. None of them costs you your turn.

High scores

Every finished game counts — against your own best, and the world's this week, this month and all time.

SupportQuestions and answers

How do I start a game?

Sign in, tap Play, then New Game, and type your friend's username. They get an invitation to accept, and the game begins when they do. You can have several games going at once.

Friend not playing yet? Text a Friend or Email a Friend on the same page writes them a message with your username and a link to the game.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password? and enter the email address on your account. We'll send you a six-digit code; type it in with a new password and you're back in.

The code never arrived.

Codes come from hello@tilefeud.com within a minute or so. Check your spam or junk folder, and that the address you typed is the one on the account. You can ask for a new code at any time — it replaces the old one. Still nothing? Write to us at the address below.

I'm not told when it's my turn.

TileFeud asks once whether it may send notifications. If you said no, turn them back on in your phone's settings: on iPhone, Settings › Notifications › TileFeud; on Android, Settings › Apps › TileFeud › Notifications. Your games are always waiting in the app either way.

Does TileFeud need an internet connection?

Yes. Every game is played against another person, and the moves are kept on our server so both of you see the same board. The rules guide works offline.

Why do I see ads?

TileFeud is free, and shows a full-screen ad now and then when you leave a game — never in the middle of a turn. In Europe you are asked first, and saying no only means the ads are not personalised. See the privacy policy for the details.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Account from the main menu and tap Delete Account. It removes your account, your email address, your scores and your place in every game, and any game still being played is resigned. Without the app, email support@tilefeud.com from the address on the account, or tell us your username, and it is done within 30 days. What exactly goes is in the privacy policy.

Anything else — a bug, a question, an idea — write to support@tilefeud.com. A person reads every message.
